The Slow Stick Sport lines of RC planes are a fun and on the easier side for building kits. There are two options, with the F version that has a foam core wing and the B version which is using traditional balsa based materials and construction. They both share the same profile, fuselage and tail assemblies.

Slow Stick Sport F

This is branching out into additional options along material use for those that like the ease of working with foam. I incorporate balsa and light ply along with Doculam covering for a stronger, more sophisticated approach. The EPS foam stock is hot wire cut, not injected and it does require some light sanding.

Wingspan, 39 inches, flying weight, 1.011 pounds.

Outside of the foam core element, the rest of the plane shares the very same platform as the other Slow Stick lines and like the rest, can all share the same fuselage and swap out the wing and tail assemblies between them.

Full Kit and covering included $45 with free shipping.

Slow Stick Sport B

This version shares some things in common with the Slow Stick Cub along the wing assembly while keeping the profile the same as the Slow Stick Sport F. The build is straight forward and simple. This is something I would recommend for the new builder, especially those that have built the Sparrow which is a great platform to learn the basics upon.

Wingspan, 38 inches, flying weight, .095 pounds.

I’m sharing it without the gear installed in the wing which is covered in clear Doculam first, then geared up below.

The kit compliment is similar to the Slow Stick Cub, still it’s components are revised for this series of rc planes. It also is using the main cross-member system developed for the Twin Boom Pusher, just as with the F version. There also is included the 3d printed control horns, a newly developed composite hinge stock is also included.

Full Kit and covering included $58 with free shipping.
