The Sparrow is a multi-purpose plane designed to be an entry level balsa build that can be flown free flight or geared up for RC, as a glider as well as powered glider. This is also a good platform for teaching the fundamentals of flight in general. It’s formatted to only required a flat, protected from glue, surface to work upon to build it.

Take note, the wing is now removable with rubber band style holding them on.


The wingspan is 26 inches, flying weight, 46 grams with 4 grams of that being two quarters used as ballast flown as a chuck glider.

The wing halves are connected together with break away joiners for ease of assembly, shown in the kit contents photo.
